hope you are well and warm.
Each year in January we celebrate Catholic Schools Week, to promote and give thanks for the gift of Catholic schools.
While the expected snow storm has changed some of our plans for this week, we would like to kick off Catholic School Week by sharing a new video that highlights some of the wonderful things happening here. We hope you will share this video with friends and family who may be looking for a great school for their children! SMS VIDEO
Also, during Catholic Schools Week we celebrate Spirit Week, replete with fun activities for students and staff. These are the events we still hope will happen this week, despite the cancellations:
Tuesday: If we have school, we will celebrate Decades Day and will have arts & crafts activities throughout the day.
Wednesday: there will not be a school mass, however, students and staff are encouraged to enjoy Sports Day by wearing their favorite sports jerseys.
Thursday: all are invited to dress as their favorite Disney character and to join us at Roller kingdom in the afternoon.
Friday: Pajama Day and special treats.
On Sunday, February 1st we have our Family Mass with donuts and coffee at the school after. As is tradition, all of our faculty and staff join us on this day, and our parish community has a chance to meet everyone who works so hard to make our school the great place it is.
We hope you will be safe in the next couple of days, and look forward to seeing you soon!
