This Thursday we have the Spookathon. Please share this link with families and friends, as this is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
A reminder that costumes cannot be violent in nature, no weapons are allowed, and the usual modesty rules apply!
Our weekly school mass has been moved to Friday, October 31st. We look forward to celebrating All Saints Day with our community. Please ensure your student is wearing a costume of a saint, angel, or biblical character. This is very important for the kinds of activities we are planning!
Our students in the Service Program are collecting change (and dollars!) for a UNICEF campaign. Boxes should be returned on Nov. 6th. Please support our students as they learn about the importance of serving others.
On Tuesday, November 4th, Lowell Public Schools do not have school but Saint Michael School has school as usual! A reminder that there would be no buses on that day.
On Wednesday, November 5th, we have our Veterans' Day Event, starting with our morning prayer and pledge of allegiance, followed by Mass and a reception for our veterans. Students in grades 5 and up will attend this reception.
On Thursday, November 6th, Archbishop Richard Henning will be visiting our school. We will have a special mass at 8:15AM, followed by a reception in the school hall, after which he will be visiting some of our classrooms. We would be delighted to have you join us for this special occasion. Parents of students in preschool: if you would like to attend the mass and bring your student with you, we would love to have you attend. Otherwise, preschool is not going to attend mass, but will receive a visit from the archbishop in their classrooms.
As scheduled, there is no school on Friday, Nov. 7th.
We have school as usual on Monday, Nov. 10th. (Please note this change from the calendar that went out in the spring).
Tuesday, Nov. 11th is Veteran's Day, and there is no school.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
