Catholic Identity

  • ​At Saint Michael School, each student, faculty and staff are called to live as Disciples of Jesus Christ. Students at Saint Michael School are very involved with activities within the Parish and School community. Its Catholic identity is an essential component of our school community as Catholic morals and values are emphasized through daily practice and prayer:
  • Monthly Masses organized by students with guidance from their Religion Teacher.
  • Monthly Mass on Sundays - students participate - Lectors, Altar Servers, Prayers of the Faithful, Collectors, Greeters,
  • Grade 4 Altar Server training
  • Daily prayer as community, prayer before meals
  • Lent: Stations of the Cross Junior High students facilitate. Grade 2 - 8 pray the Stations of the Cross
  • Altar Servers on Sundays
  • Community Service -
    • Hunger and Homeless - benefits Merrimack Valley Food Bank 
    • Fall and Spring - other community projects to benefit those in need
  • Reciting the Rosary during the months of October and May throughout the school
  • Penance Service - Grade 3 - 8 Participate during Advent and Lent
  • Grade 2 - 1st Communion Program and First Penance
  • Children's Choir - Perform at School Mass and 9:00 Mass on Sundays.
  • 8th Grade Leadership Retreats
  • Catholic Schools Week Celebration
  • Big Buddy Program - Junior High mentoring younger St. Michael students.
  • Outreach Programs: Christmas Caroling to Nursing Homes, Get Well and Greeting Cards
