Scratch Club
Students at Saint Michael School for over 5 years have participated in the Hour of Code.
"Hour of code in your classroom. The Hour of Code is a global movement by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries through a one-hour introduction to computer science and computer programming."
We continue over the 1 hour introduction and integrate other technology skills along with Scratch (our preferred programming language for St. Michael School Students).

Scratch is created by MIT in Boston.

Here is and example of a Scratch Programming Club project.
Focus:
Indexing
Conditioning Loops
Arrays

This program will take a word, separate it and jumble it. Next week we'll program to make it unjumble
